To be used with one set of reins. The pressure is distributed evenly between the horse‘s nose, lower jaw and poll. More rein action puts some pressure on the angle of the mouth. Suitable for horses that are very sensitive in the mouth, but can’t be ridden with a Hackamore only.

The Butterfly Snaffle is an absolute innova- tion in regard of mouth pieces. The anato- mically correct form in combination with a broader surface in the tongue area offers this sensitive muscle the optimal amount of room space with a very soft influence at the same time. The horses show their wellbeing with more chewing activity and an increased acceptance of the bit. If an increased effet of the horse´s mouth is necessary a leverage acting cheek may be helpful.

Suitable and aimed at horses that are very sensitive in the mouth, yet become uncontrollable in a Hackamore the Tandem bits give much better speed control, direction and much more continuity in the contact.

Hard/firm - the material is firm and no-flexible whilst very pleasant in the mouth, for very strong or horses that lean. A less cumbersome alternative to Vulcanite.
